The University of Washington’s Student Subunit of the American Fisheries Society is composed of undergraduate and graduate students from departments across campus who are interested in the conservation and sustainability of aquatic ecosystems. The subunit serves to connect students to the state (WA-BC), regional (Western Division), and national chapters of AFS, foster community, and provide resources to all types of students through funding, mentorship, field experience, and more.

Interested in general membership or leadership?

Select ‘AFS-students’ from the list index, complete the form under “Subscribe to this list,” set delivery mode to “Regular,” and delivery status to “Enabled.” Subscribing is how you can receive email communications regarding chapter meetings, events and resources.
