Our school comprises one of the largest and most diverse academic aquatic and fisheries science programs in the United States. Students learn from our faculty, whose breadth of expertise includes marine and freshwater ecology, habitat restoration, quantitative fishery management, pathology, genetics, economics and a number of disciplines related to physical, biological, and societal processes that bear on emerging issues of aquatic ecology, conservation and management.

We encourage you to explore our course offerings, our learning goals and read our faculty bios to get an introduction to the SAFS community.

SAFS offers a Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences and two graduate degrees: a Master’s and a PhD.
