Undergraduate Program
Students studying at the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences learn about the ecology of aquatic organisms, the dynamics of marine and freshwater environments, and how we conserve them for benefit of people and the planet. Our research and teaching are connected to local, national, and international issues, and students are taught the skills necessary to address these challenges.

Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Conservation and Ecology (ACE)
Students majoring in Aquatic Conservation and Ecology (ACE) learn about the ecology of aquatic organisms, their environments, and how we conserve them for the benefit of people and the planet.
Bachelor of Science in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences (AFS)
Students majoring in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences (AFS) learn about the dynamics of both freshwater and marine environments, and the sustainable management of aquatic resources and habitats. (Pre-2025 curriculum)
Minors
Minor in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences
The Aquatic and Fishery Sciences minor provides students majoring in a wide range of subjects the opportunity to understand aquatic organisms and their habitats and the responsible use of aquatic resources.
Minor in Freshwater Science and Management
Students minoring in Freshwater Science and Management (FSM) will gain strong disciplinary knowledge of the complex relationships between freshwater ecosystems and human societies.
