Internship opportunities are available in the Freshwater Ecology and Conservation Lab for Winter 2013! Interns will be sponsored by Dr. Julian Olden and will assist a master’s student with a study examining the impacts of urban development and invasive species on lake food webs. Interns will learn techniques of stable isotope analysis and the ecology and identification of aquatic insects. There may also be opportunities for long-term involvement with the study and to sample lakes during the summer. No prior experience is necessary, but a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week is requested.
