Wildlands Studies offers field programs in over a dozen different countries to learn field research, ecology, and sustainability of natural resources and livelihoods. We are still accepting applications for our upcoming programs:
Winter 2018: Tasmania and Ecuador.
Spring 2018: South Africa, Costa Rica and Panama.
Summer 2018: Iceland, Banff, Belize, Big Sur, Yellowstone, and Channel Islands
Fall 2018: Argentina, New Zealand, Peru and Nepal
Our field programs are academically rigorous, and bring students’ classroom studies to life. Each outdoor study program earns 15 credits and features 500 hours of direct contact and instruction with PhD. credentialed faculty who are subject matter experts with a deep passion for their topics. Our programs are for students in environmental studies and related fields who know that a field-based course will advance their degree, improve their ability to get a job and increase their options for graduate school.
