Greetings from The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans. The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans provides up to $90,000 in support for immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate school full-time in any field and at any advanced degree-granting institution in the United States.
I’m writing to let you know that our new application is now open and available on our website, where you can also find all of our full eligibility requirements: pdsoros.org. If you know an outstanding student who is 30 or younger and who is either the child of immigrants or someone who is a DACA recipient, green card holder or a naturalized citizen, we would very much appreciate it if you would forward this to them. The application deadline is November 1, 2016.
We are seeking the 30 most promising New Americans who will go on to make distinctive contributions to American society, culture or their field. Each Fellow serves as an example of the richness that refugees and immigrants bring to America. The competition is merit-based. Selection criteria emphasize creativity, originality, initiative, and sustained accomplishment.
Applicants can learn more about the Fellowships by joining us for an online informational webinar: https://www.pdsoros.org/apply/information-sessions.
