Starting in Autumn 2015, SAFS will partner with the School of Oceanography to offer FISH/OCEAN 300 Exploring Opportunities in Marine Sciences, a seminar designed around preparing juniors and seniors for next steps after graduation.
In this course you will:
- Plan courses and prepare for graduation
- Explore academic, research, and career opportunities in the marine/freshwater sciences
- Prepare to apply for jobs and/or graduate school

*Note – if you were previously registered for FISH 497 Special Topics as a placeholder for this course, I was not able to re-register you for FISH 300 so please check your schedule to add the course.
This course is not required (yet…) nor will it fulfill any AFS degree requirements but it is strongly recommended for all students who will be a junior or senior in the 2015-16 academic year.
