This is a late-breaking opportunity that you may want to share with undergraduates in your unit who might be good candidates for this funding:
The Mindlin Foundation is a small organization run by a donor to the College of Environment. Each year they give out between 20-40 grants to undergraduates to fund research at universities across the country. See: http://mindlinfoundation.org/funding-opportunities/undergraduate-research-rfa/
Students can apply for up to $2,500 and the application is fairly short and straightforward (see website). Applications are due by NOVEMBER 1, 2015.
The foundation owner supports several projects across our departments and is interested in seeing more applications from our students. This seems like a fantastic opportunity for undergrads engaged in timely, creative work to seek support.
