The College of the Environment is now accepting applications for several funding opportunities:
Eligibility: Open to all CoEnv students. Students can apply for up to $1500 in support of meetings attended by CoEnv students where the central goals of the meeting include linking science to policy or real-world application, and advancing diversity and inclusion within the College, the University and relevant STEM fields.
Eligibility: Current students pursuing an undergraduate major or graduate degree within the College of the Environment who are giving oral presentations of their original work at national or international meetings OR Student organizations that are organizing and hosting an interdisciplinary student-run meeting attended by College of the Environment students presenting their original research.
Eligibility: College staff, students and faculty and Yakama Nation tribal members may apply for up to $1500 to support activities that either support the recruitment and retention of prospective and enrolled undergraduate and graduate Yakama Nation tribal members within the College, and/or deepen the connection between the Yakama Nation and UW. Applications are accepted quarterly.
Eligibility: Open to graduate students working in the field of conservation genetics. This award is designed to support a new student-directed project or a student-directed extension of an existing project. Proposals are limited to a maximum of $6,000.
