CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The 2014 Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference will be held in Seattle, Washington on 30 April – 2 May. The Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference brings together scientists, First Nations and tribal government representatives, resource managers, community/business leaders, policy makers, educators and students to present the latest scientific research on the state of the ecosystem, and to guide future actions for protecting and restoring the Salish Sea Ecosystem.
The theme for this year’s meeting is “The Salish Sea: Our Shared Responsibility.” An important aim of this meeting includes working towards strategies for recovery and management that integrate across cultures, disciplines, and boundaries.
To this end, the Conference Steering Committee is calling for abstracts from the Salish Sea community. Attached, please find a detailed Call for Abstracts. More information is also available at the conference website at www.salishseaconference.org.
