Potential funding opportunity for talented undergraduates:
Financial Support for Undergraduate Studies in Environmental Sciences is
available from the National Center for Environmental Research, a unit of the
EPA Office of Research and Development, which is seeking applications for
its Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) Fellowships For Undergraduate
Environmental Study. This fellowship program forms part of efforts to ensure
that the United States meets its current and projected human resource needs
in the environmental science, engineering, and policy fields. 

Important Autumn Quarter Dates and Deadlines

ADDING/DROPPING AUTUMN QUARTER CLASSES

September 28 – Last day to add, drop or change a course in the Registration Office without being assessed a $20 Fee and possible tuition forfeiture
October 1-7 – Unrestricted drop period $20 fee
October 9-November 11 – Late Course Drop Period Use of Annual Drop Required and a $20 Fee is Assessed
October 14 – Last day to add a course through MyUW
November 11 – Last day to change to or from S/NS grade option.

CLUE Tutoring is now in the daytime in the HUB!!! Please spread the word.
CLUE & FYP are offering upper division Drop-in Tutoring in the HUB’s Commuter Commons for Chem, Math, and Physics from 11am-2pm Mon-Thurs.
There will be one tutor per subject there available for drop-in tutoring with the schedule below. Please pass the message on to all your commuting students.
