2015 Bonderman Travel Fellowship

The Bonderman Travel Fellowship application is now available for the 2015 cycle. This extraordinary opportunity for travel, discovery, and challenge is made possible by the generous donation of Mr. David Bonderman. It offers University of Washington graduate/professional and undergraduate students (from the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell campuses) an opportunity to engage in independent exploration and travel abroad. The criteria for application eligibility is outlined below. 

Boren Scholarships & Fellowships for language study abroad – UW information session TUESDAY!

Boren Scholarships and Fellowships are available for undergrad & grad students in all fields planning to study languages abroad during 2015-16 and who are interested in government work. Please share this information widely. We are fortunate to have a representative from the Boren Awards program visiting UW tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 14 to provide information to students, faculty and staff. Please help us get the word out to anyone interested and feel free to attend! 

GO and Fritz Study Abroad Scholarship Open to all UW Undergraduates, Deadline Nov. 6

The GO! and Fritz Scholarships are open to UW undergraduates from all three campuses and offer awards of $2000 – $5000 to support study abroad.
· The applications are online with access at http://expd.uw.edu/globalopportunities/global-opportunities
· To apply for the GO!, students must be residents of WA state and eligible for Pell Grants or Husky Promise.
· To apply for the Fritz, students must be declared social science or humanities majors with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Bonderman Fellowships: $20K to travel going once, going twice…

I’m writing to request your help in reminding students about the upcoming Bonderman Fellowship application deadline. We would greatly appreciate your help in notifying both graduate and undergraduate students that that applications for the 2014 Bonderman Travel Fellowship are due in less than a week, on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 12 noon (PST)!

Please also note that the eligibility requirements for undergraduate students have been revised for 2014 and all eligibility criteria are listed below:

Fulbright UK Summer Institutes 2014 applications now open, due Feb. 27 or March 6

Please share the information below with freshmen and sophomore students in all fields who may be interested in a fully-funded opportunity to study in the UK this summer.
The US-UK Fulbright Commission has opened applications for the UK Summer Institute Award Programmes for US Citizens!
Each Programme varies in duration, from three to six weeks, and offers students a fantastic opportunity for first and second year American university students to be immersed in the study of British academia and culture.
