With the Symposium deadline coming up on Monday (Feb. 25), we want to make sure that students are aware of our 2 remaining Abstract Writing Workshops (today and tomorrow) to help them apply, as well as our staff advising.

Undergraduate Research Symposium application is open
The Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium is a chance for undergraduates to present what they have learned through their research experiences to a larger audience. The Symposium also provides a forum for students, faculty, and the community to discuss cutting edge research topics and to examine the connection between research and education. The Symposium includes poster and presentation sessions by students from all academic disciplines and all three UW campuses, plus invited guests.

$$$ – Mary Gates Scholarships – now accepting applications

The Mary Gates Endowment for Students is currently accepting scholarship applications. Mary Gates scholarships provide $4,000 ($2,000 per quarter for two quarters) for students to pursue leadership or research projects. These scholarships benefit students in the current academic year, and are open to all UW undergraduate students regardless of class year, major or residency status. Deadlines are coming up soon, so begin the application process and attend an information session and application workshop.
