Krip Hop, Police Brutality Profiling & Disability Justice oriented event coming up!

The ASUW Student Disability Commission, the D Center at the University of Washington and the Q Center at the University of the Washington presents “Broken Bodies, Brainwash Ph.Ds. PBP: Police Brutality Profiling”.
March 8th from 5:00 to 6:30 at the Ethnic Cultural Center (Room TBD – The Black Room)
The event is FREE and open to the community. No identification of any kind is needed to attend.

In order to apply for the McNair Program, you must meet the following eligibility criteria set by the U.S. Department of Education. Because this is a federally funded program, these are strict requirements. 

oSTEM Speaker Panel — November 29th

Please forward to your students if appropriate.
oSTEM is a new student group for LBGT students in the STEM disciplines. We are hosting a speakers panel next Thursday that we thought might be of interest to more than just STEM majors. The panel includes out STEM professionals and a transgender activist that has worked to include gender identity in the Federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).
